Want to start off the semester helping others while you help yourself to some Chipotle? Then join us for a Giving Game on Friday February 8th at 5:30pm in Frist 209! This is a great opportunity to learn about charities and immediately put the knowledge to use. Our schedule is as follows, feel free to come and go as your schedule allows:

5:30-6:15pm: We’ll start off the night hearing about some of the most effective charities and discussing what we do (and don’t) know about their impact on the world. With such a short time, we will limit ourselves to 3 charities working to mitigate global poverty, looking quantitatively at what your dollar can do in each organization. Then, we’ll take a vote about which charity we think gives us the most bang for the buck. To up the stakes, for each person that attends, $10 will be moved to the charity that wins the vote. So make sure to bring a friend to double your impact!

6:15-7:30pm: Stick around afterwards and play some board games and revel in your altruistic achievement for the evening. Even if you can’t make it to the Giving Game please do stop by for some board games and learn more about the club.
